How to Drive B2B Leads with LinkedIn

If you’re in the B2B space, LinkedIn is the best social network out there to drive a lot of leads to your business.

The first thing you need to do is share your existing content on LinkedIn. If you have a blog, share your blog posts. If you have a lot of old content, take the first few paragraphs of those blog posts, publish it on your LinkedIn profile, and put on the bottom of the first few paragraphs ‘Click to Continue reading”. This will drive people from your LinkedIn profile to your website. This is the first thing you need to do because the more traffic you get from LinkedIn back to your website, the more leads you can generate.

The next thing you need to do is completely fill out all fields in your LinkedIn profile. If people know of everything you can do, and they are interested in your products or services, they will contact you. If you are vague, no one will really contact you to hire you.

The third you need to do, is use LinkedIn inmail. LinkedIn inmail is a paid feature, which allows you to contact other members via LinkedIn, even people that you are not connected with. This can help you generate leads.

 

If you look at B2B companies, and their sales team, almost all of them generate majority of their leads and sales especially when doing outbound sales, through LinkedIn inmail.

The forth thing you need to do, is get skill endorsements or recommendations. The more people that recommend you shows that others are vouching for you, and that you provide a valuable product or service. The more you have, the more likely you are to get leads via LinkedIn.

And lastly, you should use LinkedIn autofill. Not everyone has this feature available, you need to go LinkedIn and apply for it. What this does, is when you have a lead form on your website, and you are asking a lot of questions, the user can use their LinkedIn profile to fill in all form fields automatically. This is a quick way to boost your conversions and boost your leads, because there is very little friction for someone to then fill in all their information, it’s just a click of a button.
